Veterinary Tropical Biodatome Lab
Our lab focuses on parasitic and tropical infectious diseases, aiming to develop diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive strategies through data-driven approaches. The lab integrates classical veterinary parasitology with artificial intelligence (AI), omics, and bioinformatics under the framework of Data-driven Tropical Veterinary Medicine (Datome).
Our main research areas include parasite molecular biology and phylogeny, molecular diagnostics and One Health–based disease surveillance, AI-driven discovery of antigens and drug targets, and studies on anthelmintic resistance and drug development. By combining wet-lab and dry-lab approaches, we pursue transdisciplinary research that bridges fundamental science and public health applications.
Our lab aims to advance the understanding of infectious diseases in changing environments and ecosystems, and to provide sustainable strategies for disease control.
